About 11.1v Lipo Batteries

Hi!

There are different types of batteries including 7.2v NimH, 7.2v Lipo, 8.4v, 9.6v , 11.1v Lipo etc...
A lot of people wonder if their Airsoft gun is "Lipo ready"
Most Airsoft guns can handle 11.1v batteries BUT they will not last as long. If you used a 11.1v battery on a really poorly made Airsoft gun then the gearbox will soon brake, If you use it on a Tokyo Marui or a G&P than it will last longer than other guns, but it wont last as long than using a 8.4v or 7.2v.
A great alternative to a 11.1v Lipo is a 7.2v Lipo. Although it does decrease the ROF, it is sill a great battery.
In conclusion, most guns can handle Lipos, but the question is for how long. It is your decision.
